The next three updates of Genshin Impact will likely be shorter than normal, by one week each. As a result, players can expect additional content almost a month earlier than normal, which is fantastic news. With the delay in 2.6 due to the notorious Ayaka banner, it is logical that HoYoverse is reducing the frequency of updates to play catch-up.
Here, will detail the release dates for all three upcoming patches to Genshin Impact.
1. Genshin Impact Sumeru Update Roadmap
Release dates for the following Version Updates have been verified by HoYoverse.
- Version 3.0: August 24, 2022
- Version 3.1: September 28, 2022
- Version 3.2: November 2, 2022
- Version 3.3: December 7, 2022
Due to the shorter durations of versions 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2, version 3.3 will revert to the typical length of 42 days.

Battle Pass levels 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 now only require 900 EXP rather than the typical 1000 due to the reduced time requirement.
About Genshin Impact Sumeru banners
Although specifics for versions 3.1 and 3.2 have not been shared, information regarding version 3.0 is readily available. The new Sumeru area, along with the first Dendro banner, will be released in the forthcoming update on August 24. Early on, most of these banners were leaked, however it's worth noting that Kokomi wasn't included in any of them.
Phase 1: Tighnari + Zhongli + Collei
Since most people have probably heard of Zhongli previously, I'll just quickly go through Tighnari and Collei. Both of them employ Dendro bows and have reaction-based kits. Tighnari is the main damage dealer for the Dendro, while Collei is the major support.
The free release of Collei during a 3.0 event and the addition of Tighnari to the permanent banner in 3.1 suggest that skipping Phase 1 would be a wise choice. You can get your feet wet with Dendro by putting in some time on the open-source Collei and the Dendro Traveler.
Zhongli is a popular character who has been in several reruns and will no doubt continue to do so in the future because of how well she is received.Phase 2: Dori + Ganyu + Kokomi
Dori is another brand-new character; she's a 4-star Electro Claymore user who will show up in reruns of both Ganyu and Kokomi's series. Much like Kuki Shinobu, she is an Electro Healer and Off-Field Support. Skipping Dori is recommended if players already have Kuki.
