Roco Kingdom: World Launches in China on March 26, 2026

Roco Kingdom: World Brings Its Creature-Bonding MMORPG to China on March 26, 2026

MoreFun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, has officially announced that Roco Kingdom: World will launch in China on March 26, 2026. Revealed during the studio’s 15th Anniversary livestream, this highly anticipated creature-collection MMORPG is developed independently by MoreFun Studios. The game previously opened pre-registration for iOS in China back in August.

A Long-Awaited Sequel to a Beloved IP

Fans of the franchise can finally rejoice, as the sequel is stepping closer to release. First revealed in 2022, Roco Kingdom: World has gone through several stages of testing, including an offline test in 2023 and its first closed beta in 2024. With these milestones behind it, the game now appears fully ready for launch.

Players will enter the world as freshmen in the vibrant Roco Kingdom, a universe filled with charming magical creatures known as Rocos. Collecting, bonding, and adventuring with these creatures are at the core of the gameplay. As a continuation of Mr. Enzo Zhang’s iconic Roco Kingdom IP, this new title brings nostalgia along with modern enhancements.

Ride, Battle, and Explore with Your Tamed Rocos

Roco Kingdom: World blends nostalgic creature collection—reminiscent of classic Pokémon games—with the expansive open-world exploration seen in titles like Genshin Impact. This combination is expected to make the game a major hit in China, and potentially, globally.

Players can ride their tamed Rocos, engage in colorful battles, and explore diverse biomes filled with unique characters and discoveries. With polished visuals, adorable designs, and dynamic environments, the game looks primed to attract both old fans and new players.

Global Fans Will Still Need to Wait

While the China launch is officially locked in, there is still no information about Android pre-registration or a global release. For now, only iOS pre-registration is available via the App Store.

Still, the gradual rollout may benefit the final product, giving developers more time to refine gameplay and stabilize servers before a worldwide launch.
