Dragon Sword Opens Pre-Registration in Korea

Dragon Sword Opens Pre-Registration in South Korea, Offering an Open-World ARPG Adventure

Webzen Inc. has officially opened pre-registration for its upcoming open-world action RPG, Dragon Sword, now available for both Android and iOS users in South Korea. Originally known as Project D when it was revealed in 2021, the title is being developed by Hound 13, the studio behind Hundred Soul, and has already completed a closed beta test earlier this year.

Explore the Mysterious Continent of Orbis

Set in the vibrant world of Orbis, Dragon Sword invites players on an epic journey across a land once blessed by a goddess’s protection but now shrouded in darkness. Players will step into the shoes of Lute, a mercenary embarking on a quest to uncover the secrets of the legendary Dragon Sword and restore balance to the continent as dragons return after sixty years of absence.

The game promises a rich narrative where players will uncover ancient ruins, battle formidable foes, and experience the legacy of Orbis’s forgotten heroes.

Dynamic Combat and Real-Time Character Switching

Dragon Sword stands out with its dynamic combat system, allowing for real-time character switching, aerial combos, and knockback attacks. Players can seamlessly alternate between different characters — such as Johnny, Castella, and others — to chain skills and unleash powerful combos during intense battles.

Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game offers visually stunning environments and fluid animations that elevate the experience to a new level. Its gameplay and aesthetics draw inspiration from popular titles like Genshin Impact, but Dragon Sword carves its own identity through fast-paced combat and strategic party mechanics.

Cross-Platform Experience and Upcoming Launch

Alongside its action-packed gameplay, Dragon Sword will also support cross-platform play, enabling players to explore and fight across devices. Featuring adorable companions, rideable mounts, and a sprawling open world, it promises to deliver a complete RPG adventure experience.

Players can now pre-register through the Google Play Store or App Store. According to the App Store listing, Dragon Sword is scheduled to launch on March 31, 2026. While the wait may be long, fans of open-world ARPGs are already eager to see if Hound 13 can once again capture magic with this promising new title.
