What is R.Y.L?
Risk Your Life — in other words, "Your Life As The Stakes!"
"Possess the strength to attack and conquer to extend your territory and grow." When players conquer an area or village, they gain full power and authority over it — becoming its Feudal Lord. That territory can then be invested in and developed into something powerful and wealthy. But be warned: if it cannot be defended against hostile attacks, it will be conquered. Players wage war, conquer territory, and risk their life — this is the meaning of Risk Your Life.
Background Story: The Discovery of the Colony
There was once an empire with vast armies and a hundred years of continuous war and bloodshed, owning 1/3 of the western territories while four rival countries united against it. After a decade of uneasy peace and dwindling land, the emperor sent his second son to lead expeditions to a new continent — two successful missions led to an imperial colonization drive.
In 487 BC, the second prince became ruler of the new settlement principality. Over the following years, settlers from the old empire migrated west, building foundations on the new continent's southwestern edge. Progress was slow due to constant beast raids and scarce resources.
In 491 BC, the emperor died without a will. The first son inherited the throne and, suspecting his brother of plotting a coup, cut off the fourth wave of immigrants. Stranded and undermanned, the second prince attempted to build an independent army — but his colonies were attacked before he could, leaving buildings destroyed and troops exhausted.

A. Fighter
Level up: STR +1, CON +1
Uses almost all close combat weapons. Acts as close-range striker in a party. Weak at range but invaluable for protecting allies.
Defender STR +1.5 / CON +1.5
Higher defense and HP with powerful close combat abilities. Grows stronger in both offense and defense as they level.
Warrior STR +2 / CON +1
Area-effect damage skills, powerful offensive abilities, and increased attack rate.
B. Rogue
Level up: DEX +1, STR +1
Very high movement speed. Not suited for close combat due to low HP. Powerful ambush and stealth skills make them ideal hunters.
Assassin DEX +2 / STR +1
Strong ambush, dodge, and assassination skills. Can assist a party while camouflaged. Low HP makes them fragile when hit.
Archer DEX +1.5 / STR +1.5
Specializes in long-distance weapon skills and professional ambush-type attacks. Weak in close combat.
C. Mage
Level up: INT +1, DEX +1
Weak in close combat with lower defense, but possesses powerful ranged offensive and support spells. Requires protection from party members.
Sorcerer INT +2 / DEX +1
The strongest human magic-based offensive class. Elemental spells can damage multiple enemies within an area.
Enchanter INT +1.5 / DEX +1.5
Powerful assist and condition spells with some physiological combat abilities. Weak HP — must attack from a distance.
D. Acolyte
Level up: WIS +1, CON +1
Responsible for healing party members. Can revive fallen allies, boost recovery speed, and cast protection spells. Moderate HP.
Priest WIS +1.5 / CON +1.5
Some close combat abilities with high strength. Strong protection and recovery spells.
Cleric WIS +2 / CON +1
Primarily a healer. Most skills are recovery-focused with higher protection against magic attacks.
A. Combatant
Level up: STR +1 (male only)
Born to fight. Higher strength and HP with powerful attack abilities. Only males may be Combatants.
Templar STR +1.5 / CON +1.5
Defensive powerhouse with very high HP. Capable of high-speed attacks, absorbing damage, and strengthening party members.
Attacker STR +2 / CON +1
Primary offensive role. Can drain enemy HP using energy absorb skills or devastate with fire-spring attacks.
Gunner DEX +2 / CON +1
Long-distance attacker with the lowest HP among the Combatant class.
B. Officiator
Level up: DEX +1 (female only)
Focused on intelligence and wisdom. Only females may be Officiators. Lower HP than Combatants, but born with powerful magic and extraordinary speed.
Rune Officiator INT +2 / DEX +1
Defense and curse-based spell specialist. Empowers party members to attack using focused magic skills.
Life Officiator WIS +2 / DEX +1
Can nullify curses, self-heal, and transfer HP to other team members.
Shadow Officiator DEX +2 / STR +1
Expert in assassination and stealth. Powerful offensive abilities built around sudden-strike type skills.
Kartefant (Human) Skills
Higher HP and stronger conventional damage than other base classes. Acts as the front-line breacher in a party. Can later advance to Warrior or Defender.
