This July, Heartopia is celebrating its global server's half-anniversary with a brand-new underwater-themed update called Oceanbound. The update brings a new explorable map, a fresh fashionwave, limited-time furniture, and a wave of free rewards for both new and returning players.

While the main season kicks off on July 11, 2026, a preparation phase begins earlier on July 4, 2026, giving players time to get ready. The update also launches the "Protect the Blue" project, inviting players to take part in real ocean conservation efforts alongside the in-game celebration. New underwater map: Whale Canyon
Heartopia is introducing a brand-new underwater map that lets players dive and explore the world beneath the waves. Whale Island has been shaken by unusual undersea earthquakes, prompting an expedition into this newly discovered area and unlocking the summer fashionwave, "Call of Whales."
Players will meet Rory, Annie's older sister and the advisor of the marine archaeology team responsible for discovering the underwater map.
The new map offers free-swimming movement in every direction, letting players take in the scenery while helping clean up ocean pollution. Human activity and disruptions in the magnetic field have caused pollutants to build up on the coral that's vital to the underwater ecosystem.
- Use the "basic ocean cleaner" to clear pollutants from the coral reefs.
- Collect hidden collectibles such as seashells while exploring.

New fashionwave, furniture, and mini world: Seamount
The Oceanbound fashionwave introduces Seamount, a brand-new underwater mini world accessible through the management console, where players can design their own ocean-themed space.

Alongside the new content, Heartopia is rolling out several quality-of-life improvements. The quest list will be revamped to prioritize the new event, with better auto-tracking for objectives and faster category filtering in Dorothee's Salon.

Protect the Blue: ocean conservation charity event
Heartopia is also launching the "Protect the Blue" charity initiative, which raises awareness for the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin. Reaching a certain level in the cleaning hobby enters players into a draw for the limited-edition "Voice of the Deep" gift box, which includes a card featuring an authentic dolphin soundprint.
