Genshin Impact x Duolingo Collab Kicks Off This 8th December with Exclusive In-Game Rewards
Genshin Impact and Duolingo are teaming up once again for a special collaboration event running from 8 December 2025 to 27 December 2025. This limited-time quest brings Duo the Owl together with Paimon, Tighnari, and Cyno, offering players a fun way to practice languages while earning exclusive Genshin Impact rewards.
During the event period, players only need to extend their Duolingo streak by three days to qualify for a unique Genshin-themed reward bundle. Whether you're a new learner or a returning Duolingo user, this collaboration gives you a simple path to unlock special in-game items.
How to Participate in the Genshin Impact Quest
Before joining, check if your region is eligible. If it is, a Genshin Impact quest pop-up will appear inside the Duolingo app. If no pop-up appears, your country may not be part of the event.
To start the quest:
- Download and install the Duolingo app.
- Sign up or log in with your existing account.
- Select any language you want to learn—no specific language is required to trigger the quest.
- Look for the Genshin Impact quest pop-up and tap Join the quest.
- If you don’t see the pop-up, manually open the Duolingo Quest section and join from there.
Once you join, Duolingo will start counting your streak specifically for this event.
How to Complete the Quest
Begin your language lessons to start your Day 1 streak. Continue learning for the next two days without skipping any session. When your three-day streak is complete, you will receive a redemption code for your Genshin Impact rewards.

Important Rules to Remember
- Duolingo streak ≠ Genshin streak. Your existing Duolingo streak does not count toward the event.
- You must tap Join the quest or your streak will not be recorded.
- Skipping a lesson resets your streak, meaning you must restart from Day 1.
