DMMGAMES has officially announced Koihime Taisen, a brand-new hero battle RPG that brings together characters from across the entire Koihime Musō franchise. The game is scheduled to launch in Spring 2026 in Japan and will be available on Android, iOS, and PC. Pre-registration is now open across all platforms.
Koihime Taisen marks a major milestone for the series, as it is the first title to unite characters from every Koihime installment into a single game. Fans of the long-running franchise can now build their dream team featuring legendary heroines inspired by historical figures from the Three Kingdoms and Warring States eras, all reimagined in the series’ signature anime style.
A New Hero Battle RPG Experience
Unlike previous Koihime titles, which were best known for adult visual novels and strategy gameplay, Koihime Taisen shifts focus to hero-based RPG combat. Players will assemble squads of iconic characters such as Momoka (originally Liu Bei Xuande) and Kuon (originally Oda Nobunaga), upgrading their skills and forming tactical lineups for battle.
Story-wise, players are suddenly transported to a ruined alternate world, where they must save a captured Princess while uncovering the secrets of a mysterious organization. Escaping this collapsing world becomes just as important as winning battles, adding urgency and depth to the narrative.
Harem System and Character Bonds
One of the most anticipated features is the Harem system, which allows players to bond with their heroes and increase affection levels. Strengthening relationships not only deepens character interactions but also enhances combat performance, making character bonding a key part of progression.
