LilliLandia Games, a studio working under Tencent Games, has officially announced the first early Alpha playtest for its upcoming miniature life simulation game, Animula Nook. The highly anticipated playtest will begin on March 19, 2026, offering players an early look at the cozy life-sim experience set in the tiny world of Minietopia.
The upcoming Alpha test will debut exclusively on PC and is designed to introduce players to the core gameplay mechanics of Animula Nook. Explore the Miniature World of Minietopia
Animula Nook invites players into a charming miniature world where everyday environments become vast landscapes. In the Alpha playtest, players will explore the small town of Wuruville while accompanied by a loyal companion called the Wupa, a cat-like creature that joins players on their adventures.
Customization plays a major role in the gameplay. Players can modify their character’s appearance, decorate their homes, and adjust certain NPC elements to shape their own unique neighborhood within Minietopia.
Balcony Area Expands Your Homestead
One of the major highlights of the Alpha test is the introduction of the Balcony area. This location expands the player’s homestead and provides a space where players can build structures, decorate freely, and grow plants under the open sky.
The Balcony area serves as a creative playground, allowing players to experiment with different layouts and designs as they build their ideal tiny home.

Meet the Minies – Minietopia’s Original Residents
Life in Minietopia would feel lonely without its residents. During the Alpha playtest, players can encounter nearly 50 different characters known as the Minies. These tiny inhabitants are the original residents of Minietopia and each has their own personality.
Players can interact with Minies through several activities, including:

- Dancing
- Performing
The Alpha test will also include more than 500 outfits and furniture items, giving players plenty of options to customize their homes and characters.
6.3 Million Players Already Registered
The excitement surrounding Animula Nook has been massive. Since playtest registration opened in February 2026, more than 6.3 million players have signed up hoping to gain access to the Alpha test.
Alongside the playtest announcement, the developers also launched a special Arrival Card Event. Participants in this event have the chance to win Alpha test access, exclusive merchandise, and other rewards related to the game.
Registrations for the playtest will remain open until March 15, 2026, giving players a limited window to secure a chance to experience the miniature world early.
