RF Online Next: Efficient Leveling Guide

Leveling up efficiently in RF Online Next requires knowing which activities give the best experience at each stage of the game. Whether you have an hour to spare or just a few minutes, this guide covers the most effective methods — from the high-yield Android Junkyard to passive AFK farming — so you can maximize every moment you play.

1. Stock Up on Recovery and Buff Items

Before heading out to farm, visit the general store and stock up on recovery items and buff items. Offense boosters, defense boosters, and adrenaline boosters sold there are inexpensive and provide stat increases that allow you to defeat enemies faster. Since defeating enemies also earns Credit, the cost of consumables is effectively offset by what you earn.

Tip

Buff items from the general store are cheap and increase your stats enough to defeat more enemies — meaning you recoup the Credit spent on them without losing anything in the long run.

2. Android Junkyard — Best EXP Source (Level 30+)

Unlocked at Level 30

The Android Junkyard is the top priority for experience point farming at level 30 and above. It offers approximately three times more EXP than defeating enemies of the same level on the open field. You are limited to one hour per day, so make every second count.

Access

You can enter the Android Junkyard from Menu → Dungeons → Zone Dungeon. Choose a floor that matches your current combat strength.

How to Maximize Your Junkyard Session

  • Prepare healing ampoules and your best gear before entering — you cannot waste time inside on preparation.
  • Use all available buff items (offense, defense, adrenaline) to maximize firepower.
  • Deploy MAU and launchers to increase damage output as much as possible.
  • Use EXP potions (items that boost experience earned for 30 minutes). If multiple EXP-boosting items are active simultaneously, only the highest percentage applies.
  • If your combat power is insufficient, choose a lower floor to avoid the death penalty.

3. Progress Through the Main Quest

Completing the main quest is the single most efficient source of experience points, especially in the early-to-mid game. Push through as far as your current level and gear allow. Up to Chapter 4, progression should be smooth if you have been upgrading your weapons and equipment regularly.

Remember to visit the shop daily and purchase Credit-sold items such as Biosuits and Rover Summon Tickets to strengthen your character as you progress.

Tip

If you have purchased Alka's Privileges, use the quest-skip feature on missions that take a long time to complete, saving your playtime for higher-priority activities.

4. Side Quests and Faction Quests

Side quests and faction quests unlock as you progress through the main story. They offer the second-best EXP gain after the main quest, so complete them actively rather than saving them for later.

Side Quests — Run Them Alongside Main

Many side quests share the same kill objectives as main quests. Progressing both simultaneously means you complete two quest objectives with every enemy you defeat — a significant efficiency gain.

Faction Quests — Best Cleared Chapter by Chapter

Faction quests rarely share monsters with the main quest, and their rewards do not include Credit. This means recovery costs may become a burden depending on your combat strength. It's best to clear them all at once when you have a block of time available.

Quest Reward Overview

Quest Type Example Rewards Notes
Main Arcane Node, Upgrade Kit Many equipment enhancement items; best overall EXP source.
Side Collectible items, Crafting materials Collectibles boost character stats and help acquire desired gear.
Faction N-Token, Upgrade Kits, Collectibles Good balance of items — enhancement materials plus collectibles.
Tip

Registering collectibles increases your combat power and allows you to defeat enemies faster, which in turn makes leveling even easier — prioritize filling your collection.

5. Complete Daily and Weekly Missions

Unlocked after completing Chapter 3 "Mayazar"

Daily missions are scaled to your current level, so they always provide relevant rewards. Complete them alongside your regular monster farming since the kill objectives often overlap. In addition to EXP, you'll earn Credit and other useful items.

Higher-level missions reward more experience points. If you have extra playtime, challenge higher-level missions against enemies you can comfortably defeat to maximize returns.

6. Zone Dungeons — Priority AFK Farming Spots

Zone dungeons with entry restrictions should be your first choice when it comes to AFK farming. Notable examples include:

  • Secret Nemesis Base — unlocked at level 45 and above.
  • Public Mining Field — unlocked at level 50 and above.

These restricted zones offer slightly more EXP and Credit than open-field farming, and the items that drop there tend to be more valuable. Complete any available restricted zone before moving to open fields.

7. Battlegrounds — High Reward, High Risk

Battlegrounds (BG) have no entry restrictions and offer generous amounts of EXP and Credit. However, they are PvP-enabled zones where other players can kill you for faction contribution points — do not leave your character completely unattended here.

⚠️

Battlegrounds carry a real risk of being eliminated by other players. Stay alert and monitor your character regularly if farming here.

Earn Baerer Credit Notes Weekly

In BG you can earn a weekly allotment of Baerer Credit Notes, which can be used to upgrade your faction ID card — increasing combat power. Aim to hit the weekly maximum. The amount you can earn per week scales with your national contribution level, which increases the more you wear and use your ID card.

8. AFK Field Farming — Best for Early Game

For open-field AFK farming, choose areas where you can defeat enemies in a single hit rather than pushing into harder zones. Weaker enemy areas give more consistent EXP per hour and more critical hits. Note that EXP is tied to the enemy's level — switching to a different enemy type at the same level won't change your hourly EXP gain.

Tip

Some popular farming spots attract many players. Choose a less crowded area so you're not competing for spawns and can kill enemies uninterrupted.

Farm Collectibles While You AFK

Set your AFK farming target on enemies that drop collectibles you still need. Completing your collection increases combat power, making future farming more efficient. For items with very low drop rates, consider purchasing them from the market instead.

If you're in a guild, take advantage of guild auctions — items there are often cheaper than the open market. Joining a guild also opens up exclusive content and additional character development opportunities.

9. Auto-Battle, Recovery Settings, and Offline Mode

Enable Auto-Use for Recovery Items

If you are farming via auto-battle or idle play, turn on the auto-use setting for recovery items. This prevents unexpected deaths from catching you off guard and ensures your character keeps farming without interruption, maximizing EXP per hour.

Offline Mode and Exploration Schedules

Offline mode lets you earn EXP, Credit, and items even when you are not actively running the game. Use it whenever you cannot keep the app open. Setting up an exploration schedule is also efficient for targeted farming — ideal for battling at the right level or collecting specific drops.

Tip

Until offline mode and exploration missions are unlocked through story progression, use the AUTO button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to enable auto-battle while the app is open.

Auto-Purchase of Healing Items

In offline mode, the game automatically purchases healing items when your supply runs low. This means you can safely challenge enemies that are slightly above your AFK farming threshold without worrying about running out of potions mid-session.

Leveling Priority Summary

Use this order of priority to plan your daily play session efficiently:

  • 1 Android Junkyard (1 hr/day) — Use all buffs, EXP potions, MAU, and launchers. This is your highest-yield activity.
  • 2 Main Quest — Progress as far as your level and gear allow. The most EXP per quest completed.
  • 3 Side Quests alongside Main — Run them in parallel to complete shared kill objectives simultaneously.
  • 4 Daily Missions — Always complete these; they overlap with farming objectives and reward Credit on top of EXP.
  • 5 Zone Dungeons (restricted) — Prioritize Secret Nemesis Base and Public Mining Field when available.
  • 6 Faction Quests — Clear in bulk by chapter when you have a free session.
  • 7 Battlegrounds — Farm EXP/Credit and earn weekly Baerer Credit Notes; stay alert due to PvP risk.
  • 8 AFK Field / Offline Mode — Use when away from the game; target collectible drops to boost long-term combat power.
