RF Online Next supports a multi-client feature that lets you run two accounts at the same time on PC. This guide walks you through the exact steps to set it up and explains what you gain from playing dual accounts simultaneously.
How to Use the Multi-Client Function
PC only. The multi-client feature is exclusive to the PC version of RF Online Next. Running two instances at once is resource-intensive, so a system that meets or exceeds the recommended specs is strongly advised.
- 1 Launch the Netmarble Launcher — Open it exactly as you would for a normal login session.
- 2 Add a second account — Beside your currently logged-in account name you will see a "+" button. Click it to reveal the Add Account option, then either create a new account or link an existing one.
- 3 Switch accounts via the profile icon — To change the active account, click your profile picture in the launcher and select the account you want to switch to.
- 4 Confirm with "Connect Account Selection" — Go to Remote Settings → Select Connected Account and confirm your choice. If remote access is unavailable, close all running game instances and try again.
- 5 Select the account and launch — Choose the account you want to start and click Run Game. Because both accounts cannot be launched simultaneously, start the first account, wait until you are fully logged in, and then launch the second account.
You cannot click "Run Game" for both accounts at the same time. Always log in with the first account completely before launching the second one.
Benefits of the Multi-Client Functionality
-
Run two accounts at the same time.
Previously, players could only be logged into one account at a time and had to rely on autoplay and exploration plans to manage multiple characters. With multi-client, both accounts are live simultaneously, making multi-account management far smoother and more efficient. -
Play on different servers at once.
Having two active accounts opens up the ability to participate in multiple servers at the same time — including limited-time booster server environments. This significantly widens your strategic options and how you choose to enjoy the game.
