HoYoverse has officially begun recruitment for the first closed beta of Honkai: Nexus Anima, titled the “Nexus Bond Test.” This initial testing phase will run exclusively on PC and iOS platforms, with sign-ups open until September 12, 2025.
Early Access to HoYoverse’s Creature-Training RPG
Honkai: Nexus Anima was first revealed earlier this year as a creature-training RPG with urban fantasy elements. Players collect and evolve mystical companions known as Destined Spirits, each offering unique powers and abilities.
Gameplay will feature an autochess-inspired system, combining strategy and creature collection. The story unfolds in a world where the balance between opposing forces such as Light vs. Dark and Life vs. Death has been disrupted. Players must form teams with special companions called Anima to restore harmony.

How to Sign Up for the Nexus Bond Test
The Nexus Bond Test serves as the game’s first small-scale trial, and HoYoverse confirmed that all data will be wiped after the test. Interested players must register through the official website or HoYoLAB pre-registration page, completing a questionnaire for eligibility.
Selected participants will receive email notifications and gain access to early gameplay with multiple language support and full voice content.
Device Requirements
For iOS players, HoYoverse recommends:
- iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, or newer (excluding iPhone 13 and 13 mini)
- iOS 14.0 or later
- At least 6GB RAM
- At least 10GB storage space
Currently, there are no confirmed Android details. However, since Honkai: Nexus Anima is planned as a mobile release, it is likely that Android will be included in future testing phases.

HoYoverse has not yet revealed the exact test start date, so players are encouraged to register early and wait for confirmation emails.
