AION 2 Spiritmaster Guide: Skills, Role & Playstyle

The Spiritmaster (internal id Elementalist) is one of AION 2's nine classes — a ranged DPS who channels the four elements through an Orb. Rather than trading blows up close, it summons fire, water, wind, and earth spirits that act as stationary, turret-like helpers while the caster layers damage-over-time, debuffs, and fear on enemies from a distance. This guide covers the Spiritmaster's role, weapon, skill list, and playstyle, plus quick answers to the most common questions about AION 2's classes and factions.

AION 2 Factions and Classes Overview

The Two Factions
  • ElyosLight
  • AsmodiansDark

AION 2 features two playable factions, Elyos (Light) and Asmodians (Dark), and nine specialized classes. Every character begins as an Adventurer and later specializes into one of the nine classes, each of which can be played by both factions and either gender. The Elyos and Asmodian servers are separated, so characters from the two factions cannot meet under normal circumstances.

Signature skills such as Cold Shock, Earth Tremor, and Combustion deliver its elemental damage, Siphon drains life for sustain, and Soul's Cry and Ashy Call anchor its crowd control. It is widely regarded as one of the strongest solo classes, with high-impact PvP control, at the cost of a demanding rotation.

  • Summons fire, water, wind, and earth spirits as stationary, turret-like helpers.
  • Deals elemental damage through Cold Shock, Earth Tremor, and Combustion.
  • Sustains itself by draining life with Siphon.
  • Controls fights with fear-based AoE through Soul's Cry and Ashy Call.

Spiritmaster Playstyle

The Spiritmaster plays as a control-oriented ranged caster: deploy and rotate elemental spirits for sustained pressure, stack elemental DoTs and debuffs, and use fear-based AoE in Soul's Cry and Ashy Call plus Siphon's lifesteal to survive. Its damage falls off sharply without active summons, so it rewards constant spirit upkeep — potent solo and in PvP, but more hands-on in group play.

Because damage drops off hard once its spirits expire, keeping summons active and rotated is the single biggest factor in Spiritmaster output.

Spiritmaster Skills List

Based on current AION 2 game data, the Spiritmaster has 88 total skills, made up of 30 active and 9 passive skills.
